707.11.7.2.1 Wooden Tanks

Wooden storage tanks shall not be required to have a liner. Where a tank is lined and used for potable water, the liner shall be in accordance with NSF standards. Where unlined tanks are used, the species of wood shall be decay resistant and untreated.
