1910.1027(l)(8) Termination of Employment Examination:

At termination of employment, the employer shall provide a medical examination in accordance with paragraph (l)(4)(ii) of this section, including a chest X-ray, to any employee to whom at any prior time the employer was required to provide medical surveillance under paragraphs (l)(1)(i) or (l)(7) of this section. However, if the last examination satisfied the requirements of paragraph (l)(4)(ii) of this standard and was less than six months prior to the date of termination, no further examination is required unless otherwise specified in paragraphs (l)(3) or (l)(5);
However, for employees covered by paragraph (l)(1)(i)(B), if the employer has discontinued all periodic medical surveillance under (l)(4)(v), no termination of employment medical examination is required.
