[BG] 309.1 Occupiable Space Heating System

Interior spaces intended for human occupancy shall be provided with heating facilities capable of maintaining a minimum room temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit at a point 3 feet above the floor and 2 feet from exterior walls at the design temperature. The installation of portable space heaters shall not be used to achieve compliance with this section.

Exceptions:
  1. Interior spaces where the primary purpose is not associated with human comfort.
  2. Group F, H, S, and U occupancies.
