Storefronts in buildings developed after February 3, 1977, in portions of buildings located on the ground floor that are enlarged after February 3, 1977, and any existing storefronts that are altered, shall comply with the following standards:
  1. show windows shall have a sill height of not more than 2 feet, 6 inches above curb level and extend to a maximum height of between eight feet and 10 feet above curb level;
  2. the storefront shall have transparent areas no more than 10 feet in width, measured horizontally, and which transparent areas shall be separated by a mullion of no less than six inches in width; and
  3. storefront entrance doors shall be set back a minimum of two feet behind the vertical surface of the show windows.
