JUMP TO FULL CODE CHAPTER

Exposed noncurrent-carrying metal parts of the following equipment and enclosures shall be connected to the equipment grounding conductor:

  1. Luminaires as provided in Chapter 40.
  2. Motor-operated water pumps, including submersible types. Where a submersible pump is used in a metal well casing, the well casing shall be bonded to the pump circuit equipment grounding conductor.
