On single-knife machines a guard shall be provided at a point of contact to the knife.
1910.261(l)(7)(iii)
Safe access shall be provided to the knives of a rotary cutter by means of catwalks with nonslip surfaces, railings, and toeboards in accordance with paragraph (b)(3) of this section.
