Residential units shall comply with the Florida Building Code and the National Fire Protection Association Life Safety Code 101 as adopted by the Florida Fire Prevention Code.
467.3.2
Residential units shall comply with the following codes and standards:
467.3.2.1
All new facilities and additions and renovations to existing facilities shall be in compliance with:
  1. Section 310.6 of this code for Group R-4 occupancy;
  2. The National Fire Protection Association Life Safety Code 101, Chapter 32, Residential Board and Care Occupancy and incorporated by reference in Rule 69A-3.012, Florida Administrative Code, and
  3. The Florida Building Code, Accessibility.
467.3.2.2
All existing facilities shall comply with National Fire Protection Association Life Safety Code 101, Chapter 33, Residential Board and Care Occupancy and incorporated by reference in Rule 69A-3.012, Florida Administrative Code.
