An approved relief or surge tank shall be installed in connection with all equipment, such as hydraulic elevators or lifts operated by water pressure. Such relief or surge tanks shall be arranged and connected so that the pressure of discharge therefrom shall at no time exceed 5 psi in the building drainage system.
