With approval of the Department, small fixture wastes which cannot discharge to the house drain
by gravity shall be pumped to the house drain in front of the vent without the use of a sump or receiving tank. The
discharge line shall be equipped with a check valve and gate valve installed on the pipe discharging into a wye fitting
on the house drain.
