1910.261(j)(1)(i)
Cutting heads shall be completely enclosed except for an opening at the feed side sufficient to permit only entry of stock. The enclosure shall be bolted or locked in place. The enclosure shall be of solid material or with mesh or other openings not exceeding one-half inch.

Repairs for cleaning of blockage shall be done only when the shredder is shutdown and control devices locked.
1910.261(j)(1)(ii)
Either a slanting feed table with its outer edge not less than 36 inches from the cutting head or an automatic feeding device shall be provided.
