3003.3.4 Other Elevator Cars

In high-rise buildings classified in Occupancy Groups A, B, E, F, H, I, M and S, in low-rise buildings classified in Occupancy Group B with a gross area of 200,000 square feet (18581 m2) or more and in buildings classified in Occupancy Group R-1 or R-2, all other automatically operated cars shall have manual operation capability.
