312.11 Operational Testing of Low Pressure Cut-Off Device, Low Suction Throttling Valves, and Variable Speed Suction Limiting Controls
JUMP TO FULL CODE CHAPTER
Although enforcement of this section is outside the scope of the plumbing code, it is important for owners to note that rule 3745-95-07 of the Administrative Code requires that the owner certify to the supplier of water that their low pressure cut-off devices, low suction throttling valves, and variable speed suction limiting controls are maintained in proper working order. Enforcement of this requirement and the referenced rule is the responsibility of the water supplier. See Section 606.5.5 of this code for additional information.
