R606.13.9.1 Offset Reinforcement

Vertical reinforcement shall be permitted to be offset between floor levels. Reinforcement for the lower story shall be anchored into the upper floor level bond beam and reinforcement for the upper story shall be anchored into the bond beams above and below in accordance with Section R606.13.8 and Figures R606.13.9A and R606.13.9B.
