A-402.8.1 Notice of Start

The code official or inspection agency having jurisdiction shall be contacted by the permit holder or his designee at least 24 hours prior to the start of work under a permit. The code official or the inspector having jurisdiction may perform an initial inspection of the site to ensure all site safety protections are in place.
