204.5.3.1 Misrepresentation of Application

The code enforcement official shall revoke, in writing, a permit or approval issued under the provisions of this or the technical codes for:
- Any substantial departure from the approved application, drawings or specifications;
- Refusal or failure to comply with the requirements of any applicable State or local laws;
- Any false statement or misrepresentation as to the material fact in the application or plans on which the permit or approval was based. See the North Carolina Fire Prevention Code for other permit revocation requirements.
