1215.0 Hydronic Space Heating

Based on the system design, the heat-distribution units shall be selected in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
Heat-distribution units shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions and this code.
Hydronic systems and components shall be designed, installed, and protected from freezing.
System loops shall be installed so that the design flow rates are achieved within the system.
The ignitable flash point of heat transfer fluid in a hydronic piping system shall be a minimum of 50°F (28°C) above the maximum system operating temperature. The heat transfer fluid shall be compatible with the makeup fluid supplied to the system.
