The provisions of this section and NFPA 130 shall apply to buildings or structures defined as stations for fixed guideway transit and passenger rail systems and shall supersede other similar requirements in other sections of this code.

Emergency ventilation systems shall comply with this section and NFPA 130.
Emergency ventilation systems shall be supervised and/or controlled in all operating modes locally (motor control center and/or fan unit) and remotely at both the Operations Control Center and the station Fire Command Center.
Fan running shall be provided by sensing devices for each fan for operation in both the supply and exhaust directions.
Trouble status signals shall be annunciated in the local control room. A summarized trouble signal shall be annunciated at Operations Control Center and Fire Command Center.
