2103.11.7.2 Epoxy Coatings

Carbon steel accessories shall be epoxy-coated as follows:
1. For joint reinforcement, comply with the requirements of ASTM A 884 Class B, Type 2ā18 mils (457 m).
2. For wire ties and anchors, comply with the requirements of ASTM A 899 Class Cā20mils (508 m).
3. For sheet metal ties and anchors, provide a minimum thickness of 20 mils (508 m) or in accordance with the manufacturer's specification.
