1926.65(l)(2) Elements of an Emergency Response Plan

The employer shall develop an emergency response plan for emergencies which shall address, as a minimum, the following:
Pre-emergency planning.
Emergency recognition and prevention.
Safe distances and places of refuge.
Emergency alerting and response procedures.
Site security and control.
Evacuation routes and procedures.
Decontamination procedures which are not covered by the site safety and health plan.
Emergency medical treatment and first aid.
Critique of response and follow-up.
PPE and emergency equipment.
Personnel roles, lines of authority, and communication.
