A-903.2 Electrical Permit Fees

The permit fee for electrical work shall be $25 for each $1,000 or fraction thereof of estimated electrical construction costs. The minimum fee shall be $50. The maximum fee shall be $15,000. Except as provided in Section A-903.2.1, the construction costs shall be determined by inclusion of the following:
- All electrical equipment, conductors, conduit, etc.,
- All material,
- All labor,
- Overhead and profit.
For the purposes of this subsection, the terms "solar electric system" and "photovoltaic system" shall each mean the total components and subsystems that, in combination, convert solar energy into electrical energy suitable for connection to a utilization load.
For the purpose of calculating the electrical permit fee, the electrical construction costs for any project that includes installation of a solar electric or photovoltaic system shall not include the cost of any arrays or inverters used in the installation of such systems.
