JUMP TO FULL CODE CHAPTER
The employer shall ensure that medical surveillance made available when an employee has been exposed to MC in emergency situations includes, at a minimum:

1910.1052(j)(6)(i)

Appropriate emergency treatment and decontamination of the exposed employee;

1910.1052(j)(6)(iii)

Updated medical and work history, as appropriate for the medical condition of the employee; and

1910.1052(j)(6)(iv)

Laboratory surveillance, as indicated by the employee's health status.

[Note to paragraph (j)(6)(iv): See Appendix B for examples of tests which may be appropriate.]

1910.1052(j)(6)(ii)

Comprehensive physical examination with special emphasis on the nervous system, cardiovascular system, lungs, liver and skin, including blood pressure and pulse;
