1107.6.1.3 Communication Features

Dwelling units and sleeping units with accessible communication features shall be provided in accordance with Table 1107.6.1.3 and shall provide the following:
- Audible and visual alarms complying with ICC A117.1; and
- Visual notification devices to alert room occupants of a door knock or bell. Notification devices shall not be connected to visual alarm signal appliances.
