12-3-4.6.1
Cables connecting actuators to latches and release mechanisms shall only be used in applications where the force transmitted by them during normal operation is less than l/10 the manufacturer's rated working tension or compression.
12-3-4.6.2
Cables and connectors shall not be damaged, or have wire strands frayed during normal installation or use, and shall not contact sharp objects when installed as intended.
12-3-4.6.3
The means used to secure cables or connectors to latches, release mechanisms and actuators shall provide a tight, reliable nonslip connection.
