- The enforcement agency shall review, for each individual project, the qualifications of the project inspector, any assistant inspector, and special inspectors proposed for an essential services buildings projects to determine the inspector's competency to do the inspection required for that particular project. The qualification review shall include, for the project inspector and any assistant inspector, an appraisal of the candidate's education and experience and a personal interview which may include a written examination if deemed appropriate by the enforcement agency.
- The approval of the project inspector by the enforcement agency shall include information to the project inspector of the "personal knowledge" provisions of the Act and of the additional requirement that the project inspector shall not assume other duties which would preclude the inspector from obtaining personal knowledge required of all work of construction.
- Representatives of the enforcement agency shall from time to time visit the construction site to observe the work of construction and to monitor the performance of the project inspector. The construction work is subject to any inspections required by the enforcement agency.
