P-809.1 Above Ground

Subject to the requirements hereinafter set forth, material for water piping above ground shall be of brass, type "M" copper or heavier, cast iron, galvanized steel, galvanized yoloy, galvanized malleable iron split couplings (victaulic), stainless steel (409 type "H" copper-coated), polybutylene cold water pipe, or plastic water pipe with appropriate approved fittings conforming to the applicable specifications listed in Section P-305.
