The 2018 Washington State Building Code will be effective February 1, 2021 and comprised of the following codes:

Washington Building Codes

The building codes of Washington adopt the the International Building Code 2015 (IBC 2015), International Residential Code 2015 (IRC 2015), International Existing Building Code 2015 (IEBC 2015), International Mechanical Code 2015 (IMC 2015), International Fire Code 2015 (IFC 2015), International Fuel Gas Code 2015 (IFGC 2015), International Energy Conservation Code 2015 (IECC 2015), International Swimming Pool and Spa Code 2015 (ISPSC 2015), International Wildland-Urban Interface Code 2015 (IWUIC 2015), 2015 Uniform Plumbing Code, and the ANSI A117.1, 2009. These codes include amendments enacted at the state level.
