The 2019 Oregon Structural Specialty Code, 2019 Oregon Zero Energy Ready Commercial Code, and 2019 Oregon Mechanical Specialty Code are available for use on Oct. 1, 2019, and will become mandatory on Jan. 1, 2020. The prior versions of the codes will remain available for use during the three-month transition period.

Oregon Building Codes

The building codes of Oregon adopt the the International Building Code 2018 (IBC 2018), 2019 Oregon Zero Energy Ready Commercial Code, International Mechanical Code 2018 (IMC 2018), International Residential Code 2015 (IRC 2015), International Fire Code 2018 (IFC 2018), NFPA 70 ‒ National Electrical Code 2017, 2015 Uniform Plumbing Code, 2010 Oregon Manufactured Dwelling Installation Specialty Code (OMDISC), and the 2002 Oregon Manufactured Dwelling and Park Specialty Code (MD&P). These codes include amendments enacted at the state level.
