2012 Energy Conservation Code is meant for use with the Kentucky Building Code only excluding R-2, R-3 and R-4 construction.

2009 Energy Conservation Code is for use with the Kentucky Residential Code and Group R-2, R-3, and R-4 buildings in the Kentucky Building Code only.

Kentucky Building Codes

The building codes of Kentucky adopt the the International Building Code 2015 (IBC 2015), International Residential Code 2015 (IRC 2015), International Mechanical Code 2015 (IMC 2015), International Fire Code 2012 (IFC 2012), International Energy Conservation Code 2012 (IECC 2012), International Energy Conservation Code 2009 (IECC 2009), ANSI A117.1, 2009, NFPA 70 ‒ National Electrical Code 2017, and the NFPA 101 - Life Saftey Code 2012. These codes include amendments enacted at the state level.
