International Residential Code 2009 (IRC 2009)
The International Residential Code 2009 (IRC 2009) is a model code produced by the International Code Council (ICC). This document provides the foundation for many state and city codes. The IRC 2009 combined with local jurisdiction amendments form the state codes. Adopting jurisdictions include Maine, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
Amendments
States and cities enact critical amendments to the model codes. The majority of US states do not offer an integrated code. UpCodes provides the only source to view these amendments integrated into the model codes. Learn about amendments
